Model & configuration

Published 108 × 232.2 × 165 mm enclosure. Original visual reconstruction from Synology product photos. Front drive cover stays installed; rear 92 mm fan guard, front/rear USB, buttons, LEDs and two network sockets are included. Internal trays are not separate devices. Stands on its feet on the rack floor at U1, taking 4U in the 260 mm frames. The current hex shelf permits only 190 mm device depth, so it cannot sit on that shelf. No mount is bundled. Power figures include the manufacturer drive test load. Access draw is not a worst-case peak or drive spin-up rating.
